Marina's previous career as an illustrator and product designer plays an important role in her aesthetics as a honey entrepreneur and honey sensory expert. She studied illustration at The School of Visual Arts. Her love of design and pattern inspire her botanical watercolours which she painted for the second edition of her book The Honey Connoisseur.
